Final Concepts & a Questionnaire

These are my choices for my garments for my Studio Design Project. I have 5 weeks to pattern make, sample, test, manufacture, do photo shoots, plus a whole lotta paperwork to go with it.

I am hoping you can take the time to fill out the following questionnaires. This is also part of my project to get feedback from the public, so it would be very helpful if you could all complete the boxes. It is just a multiple choice survey, so it hopefully should only take 5 mins of your time!

Digitally printing fabric

What do you think about the Kaleidoscope effect?

I just did another one, I feel like the pattern repeat/mirror is a little bit more evenly spaced. Can you even tell the difference!?

Magic Patterns begin

We are having a fun week in the lead up to our final assessment and having a play with some of the beautiful Japanese pattern making books. I have chosen a design out of one of the Pattern Magic books by Tomoko Nakamichi.

 

I have begun pattern making one of the pinafore style dresses. I can't wait to see what it turns out like!

There was a whole lotta cut n' spreading going on. (Note to self: Bring scrap paper next week! I have already gone through about 8 sheets of paper and I am have only done the front.)
